Dental Implants

Precision guided

A dental implant replaces the root of a missing tooth with a small titanium post, which supports a crown that looks and works like the tooth you lost. Because the post is anchored in the jaw, an implant stays put when you eat, speak, and smile, and it helps protect the bone that would otherwise shrink over time.

We use guided planning for every implant. Before surgery, we map your jaw with 3D imaging and design the exact position, angle, and depth of each implant. During surgery, a custom guide keeps the placement true to that plan. The result is a more accurate implant, less time in the chair, and usually a gentler recovery.

Is this right for you?

  • You are missing one or more teeth and want a permanent replacement.
  • Your dentures or bridge feel loose or uncomfortable.
  • You want to replace a tooth without altering the healthy teeth next to it.

What to expect

  1. 1. Consultation and imaging

We review your health history, examine your teeth and gums, and take 3D scans to see the bone available for an implant.

  2. 2. Guided planning

We plan the placement digitally and talk through the timeline, so you know what to expect before we begin.

  3. 3. Implant placement

The implant is placed with a surgical guide, using local anesthesia so you stay comfortable.

  4. 4. Healing and final crown

As the implant fuses with the bone, we check your progress. Once it is ready, we attach your custom crown.

Common questions

Does getting an implant hurt?
The area is numbed during the procedure. Most patients describe the recovery as mild to moderate soreness that they can manage with over-the-counter medication, though everyone is different.
How long do implants last?
With good daily care and regular checkups, implants can last for many years. The crown may eventually need to be replaced, but the implant itself is meant to be long term.
Am I a candidate?
Most healthy adults are. If you have lost bone or have gum disease, we can often treat that first. A consultation will tell us what is right for you.
